This pebble is designed and engineered to showcase the enhanced capabilities of the new J55 and J8 series polyjet printers. This pebble has multi-color and multi-material composition with added texture for better grip. This pebble is truly elegant and stylish.With two lids to choices, the case is designed as a rigid clear clamshell with a textured grip on the back. It has a hinge that snaps together and a snap hook that acts as the latch. The logo on the front is made from a clear flexible tinted material and is meant to be a button. This button is pressed to lock the sun gear below to change the rotation mode of the gears. The mechanism consists of a spiral spring that is wound to power the planetary gear-set regulated by a prawl and lobes on the drum. This limits the speed the spring unwinds and extend the runtime on the system. The moving parts has a stress analysis color plot overlay to demonstrate how versatile poly-jet printing technology is.
