MECHANIC VENTILATOR - COVID 19 - LOW POLY . . . . . . STOP - DO NOT PRINT! . . . . . . MECHANIC VENTILATOR WAS COMPLETELY REDESIGNED - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4252113 . . . . . . THE 3D PRINTED PARTS ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY, DESPITE ALL EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THEM! I WILL CREATE A NEW DESIGN THAT INCLUDES THE USE OF 8MM LINEAR BEARINGS FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE! I WILL DISASSEMBLE ONE OF MY OLD 3D PRINTERS AND RECLAIM THE PARTS NEEDED FOR THE NEW DESIGN, RESULTING IN SAVINGS AND EASE OF PRODUCTION. UPDATE: 28 March 2020 - DUE TO TWO PREVIOUS FAILURES DURING SHAFT PRINTING, A NEW VERSION WITH A SACRIFICIAL BASE WAS INCLUDED, WHILE KEEPING THE SHAFT UNDER 200MM LIMITS! All parts are designed to be 3D printed without support. All STL files are in the correct position for printing. Required parts: It requires a Nema 17 Stepper Motor. SHAFT motor hole is offset by 0.3mm, making the hole approximately 5.6mm in diameter. The Nema Motor uses 4 x M3 6mm countersunk bolts. 4 X M5 - 16-18mm Bolt/Nut - ARMS 4X M5 - 16-18mm Bolt/Nut - BASE, however, mounting positions may vary based on the table's design. A M4 Stud Bolt 6-8mm and a M4 Nut are used to connect the SHAFT to the Nema 17 Motor. SHAFT features a pitch of 16mm with double end thread. It includes support for limit switches at the external end. The machine can be controlled using an Arduino, but speed and frequency settings require careful adjustment based on Emergency Ventilator Volume requirements. "B" version secures the thread assembly with 4 x 220mm M6 thread bars (16 - M6 lock nuts and washers). This device has not undergone medical testing or approval. Use it as a last resort! Use your own judgment! Be Safe! Stay Safe!
