For this sci-fi prop, I chose to create a claw machine that reflects a unique blend of futuristic and whimsical elements. Initially, my vision was to design a neon-lit, cyberpunk-inspired claw machine. However, as the project progressed, my ideas shifted towards creating a device that might be found in or built by a skilled Gnome from Mechagon. Modeled entirely in Maya, the intricate details of this sci-fi prop are brought to life with precise 3D modeling techniques. Texture mapping and color grading were accomplished using 3DCoat, while final touches were added in Photoshop, resulting in a visually stunning and immersive experience for gamers.
