To ensure a seamless gaming experience, top surfaces between hexes are subtly textured but remain unmarked, leaving it up to you to creatively denote features like dense forests and rocky outcroppings separately. This thoughtful design allows hills to be easily repurposed for future games on open hex maps, giving you the flexibility to combine and swap them as needed.
