This drone was part of a game I developed to help kids enjoy learning in school by making it fun. Many years ago, ancient Egyptians used board games for entertainment and mental training, and today they're still used for various purposes in different ways. To meet the requirements, I created a board game for middle-school and high-school students that focuses on learning, creativity, and strategic thinking to achieve victory through problem-solving. The game features an island-shaped board with hexagonal squares where players can place their pawns or bonus tokens. Each player aims to control the most houses by advancing through the board, fighting opponents, and solving questions related to subjects already studied in class. The main idea behind EduCombat is to make learning fun while overcoming difficulties. Players can use the game as a tool to study and enjoy subjects they find challenging. This is why the game is called EduCombat, making it suitable for children and adolescents during their studies, regardless of the subject - math, biology, chemistry, or any other. A key principle of EduCombat is its simple gameplay, multiplayer capabilities, and visually appealing design featuring colorful boards and pawns. Each board can be combined with others to create larger boards and accommodate more players. The pawns not only serve as game pieces but also as collectible items that can be displayed and appreciated for their historical or fictional value. For instance, the Roman-themed pawns feature Julius Caesar, Roman soldiers, and war vehicles used by the Romans, all of which evoke stories and lessons from past, present, or future events in our society. By using EduCombat pawns as collectibles and exchangeable items, players can appreciate their historical significance while promoting sustainable use. The game also emphasizes eco-friendliness by using PLA, a biodegradable plastic derived from corn, for the pawns and cardboard for the board. This allows the pawns to be recycled or decomposed naturally at the end of their life cycle, reducing waste compared to traditional board games. In conclusion, EduCombat can be played in any environment - home or school - with its primary goal of entertaining, educating, and bringing people together having a lasting impact.
