Mecha Chess: Queen

In 2008 a Chess set concept illustration was uploaded to deviantart by the user Mr--Jack. I was shocked at the fantastic design he made and revisited it during all this years. Now I got a 3D printer and I'm learning to design in Blender so this is my attempt to make something physical from that concept. I started with the queen because it is more symmetrical, which makes it easier for me. I plan to make the other pieces too.
