Mech Robot
pinshape
I designed this robot based on a character from War Robots, utilizing its unique design features. The legs are attached to small bumps or "dots" located on each side of the body, providing stability and balance. The guns can be positioned either at the top or sides of the body, offering flexibility in terms of placement. To print this model, I use my Monoprice Mini 3D printer, which allows for precise control over printing settings. My go-to splicing software is Cura, which enables me to fine-tune parameters and optimize the print job. I typically print it in PLA at a temperature of 190°C, ensuring a strong and durable finish. For finer details, I set the layer height to 0.1mm, while prioritizing speed, I increase it to 0.2mm. The infill percentage is usually kept low, around 20% or lower, to minimize weight without compromising structural integrity. To ensure successful printing of the body piece, supports are recommended. If my printer has a heated bed available, I use it, but in most cases, it doesn't significantly impact the print quality.
