Mech Modular Keyboard
thingiverse
Have loved mechanical keyboards since I had an original IBM model M. So I decided it was high time to go all in and build one from the ground up. I've also been typing for a very long time so learning layers or going split/dactyl didn't seem like a good idea especially when I use multiple keyboards a day. So I found the Mech-104 and decided it was a good place to start. And since I have plenty of desktop space I decided to make a mega board that does everything I want. Because I have a 300mm printbed and because I have a preference for smaller (and cheaper) micro controllers I'm going to be using Raspberry Pi Pico based controllers in each piece and I will probably end up with a small 4 port hub in the 10key part so cable management isn't to horrible. The Gamepad portion is a throwback to my Nostromo n50 though it's based more on a Razer Tartarus v2. I will eventually do a version with a rest and some thumb button functionality.
