Meccano SG90 Cap

Cap designed specifically for mounting on an SG90 spindle, featuring 21 miniature teeth. This cap will mesh perfectly with the corresponding teeth on the SG90, thereby securing its rotation. This cap has been successfully printed and thoroughly tested (photos are soon to be uploaded). The design incorporates Meccano-spaced holes, including two middle holes with 12.7mm centers, as well as additional holes in between for mounting flexibility. The hub is carefully extruded to accommodate M4 heads and will also fit standard nuts snugly. A recessed area at the top allows for secure screw fixing directly to the SG90. This part was printed using Shapeways' precise laser sintering technology, which is essential for accurately reproducing the 21 tiny teeth measuring just .3mm in length. I have also developed a separate model called "SG90 Cap" that features only the central hub without the extruded section for Meccano bolts.
