Mecanum wheels
thingiverse
This is my 3D printed version of mecanum wheels, which are commonly used in robotics projects and autonomous vehicles. This set of wheels is designed with a shaft diameter of 6mm rod or can be directly attached to geared DC motors or stepper motors, making it very convenient. The parts included are two wheel components and several rollers. Assembly of this component is relatively straightforward. First, the base wheels are arranged properly according to position, as proper positioning is crucial for connecting with rollers. Next, fasten them with M4 bolts and nuts. Then, attach rollers to the wheel bases in each wheel; there will be a total of 9 rollers to be assembled, which are also fastened with M4 bolts and nuts. After thorough examination, ensure all rollers roll smoothly. These wheels are now ready for the track.
