Introducing a novel concept of mecanum wheels that can dynamically alter their diameter based on driving conditions and ground terrain. These mecanum wheels are equipped with adjustable roller traction vectors, allowing for customizable drive direction while in motion. Rotating all three wheel hubs changes the wheel's diameter, while varying the rotation speed alters it further. Opposite rotation of external hubs adjusts the rollers plate angle, influencing the drive vector. Differential hub rotations enable driving steep side slopes with ease. The rollers plate-holding frame is designed to flex and function as an active suspension element. This innovative mechanical design was developed in less than 60 hours using Spaceclaim software, sans any iPhone integration.
