Mecanum Wheel remix (sunk in bolts and nuts)
thingiverse
I appreciate your Mecanum Wheel MK2 sample. I have taken the concept and recreated it entirely in Solidworks. The original design from MK2 had its ball bearing holdings too tightly fitted, requiring me to push them firmly into place, with many slots cracking as a result. The exposed bolts and nuts in the original design also posed potential issues during use. In my revised version, several key improvements have been made: I have enlarged the size of the ball bearing slots by 0.2mm, allowing for a snug fit without excessive force. Additionally, I have recessed the bolt and nut components, ensuring they are securely fastened once tightened. To complete this revised design, you will need to obtain: - A set of M4 x 40mm screws and nuts (quantity: 32) - Washers for the M4 screw/nut sets (quantity: 64) - 624 ball bearings (quantity: 32)
