In 2019, our team introduced a range of pre-designed drive base configurations post kickoff. These comprised four options: a single-speed skid steer, a two-speed skid steer, and two Mecanum models with wheel diameters of 4 inches and 8 inches. We plan to expand this selection in the future, but for now, these designs provide a strong foundation. Notably, all options utilize COTS parts, except for the base plate, battery frame sub assembly, and bumper mounts. The front remains open in each design to accommodate the year's chosen mechanism.
