Meater Block Weather Cover

Meater Block Weather Cover

The Meater Block stands out as the most advanced BBQ thermometer available, but it has one notable drawback: its faceplate is not weather-resistant, leaving it vulnerable to water seeping under the display. This protective cover makes installation a breeze - simply place it atop the unit. To ensure versatility, I designed two versions of this cover. The smaller version leaves the USB port open, allowing for continued power supply if needed. Drawing from my experience with another thermometer, I strongly advise printing this cover using PETG rather than PLA to prevent shrinkage when placed near a grill hood. At approximately 100 grams in material weight, the cost of this cover is minimal compared to the Meater Block's substantial price tag of over 200 euros. Investing 2.50 euros for the safety of this high-end gadget seems entirely reasonable. Printing with PETG proved slightly more time-consuming than expected, taking over eight hours on my Ender 3 Pro.
