Meat Tenderizer cnc

After crafting my wooden mallet, I realized that a meat tenderizer would also be highly useful in the kitchen. We probably don't use ours frequently enough, so I wondered why we hadn't already acquired one. The design of the split head was inspired by the mallet's layout, but I downsized the handle and adjusted the size of the head to better suit the tool. I created two versions: one made from beech and oak, and another from birch and checker tree. For the birch version, I glued together two 10mm pieces of reclaimed slatted wood. To secure the spikes in the hammerhead firmly, I attached it to my CNC machine and used a large 90° V-bit. Carefully, I engraved lines with shallow depth per pass, taking extra caution not to damage the material. On the final cut, I even slowed down the speed and made an additional shallow pass (0.2mm) to achieve a superior surface finish. To protect the hammer from water, I submerged it in olive oil.
