MeArm V 0.41
grabcad
I reconstructed all components of the MeArm V0.41-4DOF Robot Arm using IronCAD 2019 from a 2D DXF file. The parts were flat in the file MeArm-V0_41-002-AP214.stp and I chose the STEP file format because it offers the most flexibility for modifying parts. After importing a STEP file, you can still modify diameters and surface positions. I assembled all parts together. I exported the built robot arm to various file formats that IronCAD supports. All these files are included in the ZIP archive. IronCAD has an excellent part alignment function that makes aligning parts easy. I corrected some minor alignment errors between parts in the built robot arm. The flat parts still have slight alignment issues (about 0.3 mm).
