Meanwell RSP-500-24 Case
thingiverse
I designed a multi-piece power supply cover specifically for a Meanwell RSP-500-24. The walls are 3mm thick, providing impressive strength despite being printed with only 10% infill. Diagonal openings on the "plug end" pieces allow for crucial air circulation. The design caters to a Taz 4/5 plug on one side and a standard IEC320 C14 inlet on the other, accommodating users' needs. However, my model didn't include screw mounts for the inlet. To assemble the cover, print the middle section three times and connect the pieces where their tabs align. This entire setup should fit comfortably within an MK3 print bed's dimensions. The combined length of all five pieces is 250mm; if this proves too short or excessively long, simply adjust the Z-size of the central sections accordingly. Future modifications are possible based on user feedback: I'm open to adjusting plug holes according to suggestions and may add indents for rubber feet upon popular demand.
