Meanwell RS-15-5
thingiverse
This enclosure fits a Meanwell RS-15-5 perfectly, attaching easily to standard 40x40 aluminum v-slot extrusion rails. Three USB type A ports are built in for convenient connections. Wide and deep holes accommodate 3mm hex socket head cap screws securely, while openings for cover fasteners need an M3 tap before screwing. Fasteners holding the cover should be about 10-15 mm long. Using short fasteners near the power supply is essential to prevent damaging isolating material between the metal case and PCB. This prevents damage from excessive force on waxed paper insulation. A datasheet for the Meanwell RS-15-5 specifies 3mm M3 screws at the bottom and 4mm M3 screws on the sides. While all four openings are available for fastening, you only need to use them if desired. The mains power opening is large enough for a three-wired stranded sheathed cable (such as H03VV-F) with a diameter of 0.75 mm or 18 AWG across the Atlantic Ocean. This enclosure allows for easy connection to the printer's C14 plug, powering everything with just one AC power cable. This design is useful and can be used in various applications.
