Meanwell LRS-150-12 Power Supply Mounting Brackets
thingiverse
This is a custom-made bracket designed specifically for a Meanwell LRS-150-12 12VDC Power Supply. This power supply has an unusual design with screw holes placed in hard-to-reach locations, making it difficult to secure properly. To address this issue, I created a bracket that grabs the mounting screws and utilizes the edge features of the power supply to provide four points of attachment. The bracket also raises the power supply by about 1/4 inch, allowing for improved airflow and heat dissipation. This custom bracket was used in an internal installation on a Monoprice Select Mini 3D Printer. You can view the step-by-step process on our Hack-a-day page at https://hackaday.io/post/48839/. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm or better Infill: 25% or more Post-Printing Instructions: To assemble this bracket, you will need M3 screws and nuts to attach it to your power supply and mount it securely. The screw length may vary depending on the mounting position and material thickness. Measure the printed bracket carefully and choose the optimal screw length for your application.
