MEAN WELL SE-450 Mount
thingiverse
This is a mount for a MEAN WELL SE-450 power supply that mounts onto 20mm aluminum extrusion. This mount faces the power supply fan away from the print bed, mitigating interference from stray airflow over the print. It incorporates a mount for a chassis mount AC power cord inlet plug socket with switch fuse (e.g. this one from Amazon). A panel insert separates the AC wiring from the low-voltage, allowing the part to be printed without support. Post-Printing In addition to a power supply with similar mounting requirements, you will need the following receptacle and mounts: 4 x M4*8mm Button Head Hex Socket Cap Screws, 4 x M4*10mm Button Head Hex Socket Cap Screws. Wire the receptacle appropriately, allowing a short length so that the cover may be attached and removed. Attach the receptacle to the mount with two M4*10mm screws, gluing the divider in place. Use shorter screws for the top of the mount and the countersunk holes under the extrusion grooves, using longer screws for the other side of the mount. If necessary, ream out the M5 holes with a 13/64" drill bit. You may need to file the extrusion slot to fit snugly. Be mindful of labeling when connecting input and output power connections, as commodity power supplies often switch arrangements without notice. Pay close attention to the input power switch! Most of these power supplies ship in the 220 AC input configuration, so be sure to check (and double-check) the setting before power-on.
