The Mean Well RD-85A is a fanless AC-DC dual output power supply - 5Vdc 10A and 12Vdc 5A.

I'm using the Mean Well RD-85A power supply to power 130 LED lights (SK6812 RGBW - 5v at a max of 5A) and a Raspberry Pi 4 (5v at a max 3A) as part of the enclosure for my Prusa i3 MK3S+.

(The 12-volt side of the RD-85A is for future features, such as a 12v exhaust fan)

I designed this to have a power switch for the power supply as well has quick disconnects for any devices that were connected to it (as opposed to having everything wired directly to the terminals).

You will need these screws to finish the project:

Attach the left side lid: M2.5 x 8mm (qty 4)

Attach AMASS connectors: M2.5-0.45 x 8mm (qty 8)

Attach the AC on/off switch: M3 x 6mm (qty 2)

Attach the entire cover to the RD-85A: M3 x 6mm (qty 2)

Printing:

*See images for slicer orientation

Print setting: 0.20mm Quality

Filament: PETG

Supports: None

Infill: 15%

Other: I used 2 perimeters to save a little time. Also had “Detect thin walls” checked, but that may not be needed.

Check this out too:

I've also designed a wall mount for the MeanWell RD-85A power supply that works with this terminal cover: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/138881-mean-well-rd-85a-mount-bracket

This project was inspired by the project “Meanwell LRS-350-24 Case Ender3 (Pro)” by “BBoySilvester" found on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5139347
