Mean Well IRM-60 isolation and strainrelief / Schutzisolierung und Zugentlastung
thingiverse
This is a electrical isolation and strain relief for the primary side of the Meanwell IRM 60 power supply series. Please note that only trained electricians should work at mains voltage. This box has the purpose of providing strain relief, isolation, and a place for terminal strips as an example. All the screws are designed to be M3 screws after DIN EN ISO 4762. The power supply needs to be mounted with them too, because the heads of them are needed to clamp the case in position. The holes are dimensioned so normal M3 screws can "tap" their threads themselves with a little bit of extra torque. The case itself holds a M16x1.5mm thread to hold cable glands. It is enough to use a layer height of 0.2mm to get the M16 threads working. I recommend using a support structure under the T-cutout for the power supply. The FreeCAD file is provided, so feel free to improve and adapt it for your own needs! -
