This is a custom mounting bracket and gear system I designed specifically to enable my Meade LXD55 8" SCT telescope to be paired with a motorized focuser. The design ensures seamless compatibility with both the aforementioned scope and any Orion AccuFocus DC motor or similar system. In addition to the custom-made parts, four M4 nuts and matching bolts are required to complete the assembly. I utilized two of the bolts provided with the AccuFocus and then acquired two more to complement the nuts in the gears. The only supports needed for this setup are those that come with the Main Body bracket. Fortunately, the gears require no additional support; simply ensure they are oriented correctly during printing by positioning the large, flat surface against your build plate in your slicer.
