This is my telescope model, crafted in 3ds Max with cm as the unit of measurement. I utilized V-Ray render engine as the only external plugin. The telescope is presented at a 30° Latitude, 35° Right Ascension, 25° Declination, and 20° tube rotation angle for an elegant observer positioning. Despite being a low poly model, it's smoothed using NURMS subdivision and smoothing groups (no turbo smooth). The model comprises of 120 objects named after their actual names, as well as shaders and textures. Textures were created as vectors in Corel Draw! and exported as bitmaps. Note that cords couldn't be linked to follow telescope movements; they are grouped instead (static version). Please avoid changing the pointing position unless you know what you're doing, or contact me for instructions if you wish to do so.
