This holder is an evolved version of Nicolas_T's original design, adapted to a sturdy round tripod base. My custom tripod boasts a clever convolute extrusion that initially struggled to accommodate the round clamp. Fortunately, Nicolas_T's innovative solution worked flawlessly, so I seamlessly integrated it into my own design. As part of this upgrade, I also added a convenient pocket to securely stow my power supply. A thoughtful through hole feature was carefully crafted in the bottom to facilitate effortless cord passage. To ensure easy removal and reinstallation, stainless thumb screws were installed on the front feature, paired with precision helicoils on the mating section – a deliberate design choice, considering I plan to take down the holder when packing up my scope.
