This is the leg's end tip replacement for a Meade #844 Deluxe Tripod Leg. My original one cracked and Meade informed me they no longer carry the part, instead suggesting I purchase an entire new tripod. The original component features a rubber cover that fits perfectly into this new part. I have accurately positioned the screw hole, but I suspect the exact placement may differ from one tripod to another. The diameter is precisely 1 inch, ensuring it will fit securely regardless of any slight variations in position.
