Meade 60AZ-M Telescope Mount

I acquired a Meade Jupiter telescope for my kids, but it lacked a sturdy mount. I took the initiative and designed one that functions quite effectively. The holes on the sides are specifically intended to secure the scope in place, while the single hole at the bottom allows for attachment to a standard camera tripod. To ensure seamless compatibility with regular tripods, I carefully inserted a standard 1/4in-20tpi insert from Home Depot into the mounting hole, allowing it to screw securely into position. This innovative mount was created with structural strength in mind and was printed at 50% infill for maximum stability. The entire design process was facilitated by Tinkercad, a powerful tool that made it easy to bring my vision to life.
