Meade 2" Series 4000 Eyepiece Caps and spacer

I carefully unwrapped my 56mm EP and discovered it was shipped with only a basic plastic bag covering it, prompting me to create additional caps as well as a custom spacer. The design for the eyecup cover is intended to securely attach itself while the eyecup is folded over in place. To prevent excessive insertion into my Baader diagonal, I used a 10mm spacer. When laying out the object on a flat surface, make sure you're working from the correct plane; if not, it can lead to inaccuracies in your design. This custom-built adapter was created using precise measurements from my own 56mm EP, so its compatibility may vary based on the size of your eyepiece – especially if yours isn't a standard 56mm model. 12/16/17 I made some adjustments to the dimensions of the spacer for optimal performance.
