I made a set of these out of steel, they were 2 lbs each. Sometimes I don't want all of that weight, so I pull the steel off and put the plastic ones on. I like the extra surface area on the forend, it helps with stability on a bag. These are side plates that bolt on to an MDT ACC Chassis (Premier or Elite, there are files for both since the contours are slightly different. These will fit on most MLOK style rails, but I made these for my ACC chassis. Print with no bottom layers and dense infill for a great grip surface that I think looks cool. There are holes down the sides for M4 threaded inserts in case you want to attach an accessory... and yea that's ironic since these is to cover up the MLOK. Listen, these are 99% just meant to look cool, they really don't do much, especially on the ACC elite since it doesn't need the added rigidity. They do make the chassis ride a bag similar to an ARCA plate.
