MDR XB950BT Hinge Now Solder Less

V3:\n\nI've revised the hinge and it's now solder-free.\nMany users asked for a modification since not everyone is comfortable with soldering and the previous non-solder option was bulky and unsightly.\nYou no longer require the metal pin, but you will need 2 M3 screws. The blue rubber o-rings connecting the hinge to the cup are still optional, but they'll work much better if used. If I can find the original screws, I may upload a second version with smaller holes for those screws.\n\nv1:\n\nI have two pairs of MDR XB950BT headphones where one broke the part that holds the ear cup and the other broke the headband.\n\nSo I created these two options to help others fix their headphones as well. \nThe first option uses all the original parts from the headphones, replacing only the part that holds the ear cup. You'll need to desolder and un-snake the cable from the original, then snake it back through the new printed one. Make sure you know where the wires were soldered before, as the wire order is switched but marked.\nFor this option, I suggest adding supports only from the bed to the part, not inside, as they'd be hard to remove and were unnecessary in my case, just round tunnels.\n\nThe second option uses parts from the EQ1 headphones uploaded by 3DCentralVA.\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:674179\nI modified the headband to fit my design.\nYou'll need to print more parts, but you don't have to solder unless it's easier for you.\nYou could simply continue to break or cut the plastic to free the cable (you don't have to break the ear cups). The new pictures in black are v2, and the silver ones are v1.\n\nSupport me on Patreon at Dsk001.
