This is a precision-crafted 1:35 scale model of the MD530 Helicopter, carefully designed as an assembly kit suitable for FDM 3D printers. The kit pushes the printer's capabilities to their limits in order to produce extremely accurate parts. To achieve optimal results, I experimented extensively to find the most effective way to manufacture each component. This required using slow print settings with incredibly thin layers. This comprehensive kit includes all interior components, such as seats, controls, pedals, and even a turbine. Assembling the model can be done with or without doors, which are removable, as well as the engine compartment. I recommend using two colors of filament: transparent for glass-like areas and solid for other parts. To achieve an authentic look, I used acrylic paint on solid surfaces and transparent nail polish on glass areas to create a convincing transparent effect. Overall, this model is sure to impress!
