MD CPAP ## Ender 3 CPAP Add-On with x4 5015 Blowers This device allows you to use CPAP pipes and x4 5015 blowers as a replacement for the bullseye or Hero Me 2 and its single stock blower. This provides more cold air at slightly lower noise, or a lot of cold air with a lot of noise... ## Update 2020-01-12 Tweaked the bullseye duct to now blow air slightly forward from where it did before. Also added a bltouch mount to the left side of the duct. Less parts = lighter carriage MD_CPAP_bullseye_20200112_update.sdl. Print with supports and in black;). ## Update 2019-11-07 After some long testing and tweaking, I have a new Bullseye duct (first photo) which also includes a beam for stability and some led light mounting option. Also created a better fan mount, this fits the 5015 fans tighter with less gaps and is all in one print (second photo). Also has the output facing forwards so you can use shorter CPAP pipe. You don't really need to, but I modified the Marlin firmware so the fan min value matches the lowest number that will get these fans to spin. As well as enabling the fan blip to 100% mostly because it sounds cool. Configuration_adv.h: ``` #define FAN_KICKSTART_TIME 500 #define FAN_MIN_PWM 84 #define FAN_MAX_PWM 255 ``` In my (Prusa)Slicer: Fan speed Min: 1% Fan speed Max: 60% Bridge fan speed: 80% These work for me, yours will be different due to fans, length of CPAP, slicer, filament, temperatures etc etc etc ## Update 2019-04-08 Also uploaded a Hero Me 2 version of the CPAP adapters and a matching bltouch mount as the original one on the Hero Me 2 gets in the way. I find the Hero Me 2 designs to be more compact and has a wider air outlet compared to the bullseye, but both are good. In the photos the black prints are the Bullseye and the blue prints are the Hero Me 2 version. A 4020 mount for (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3213609) so I can put this on top of my Ender 3 as shown in the photo. Running the fans off a mosfet just to be safe (one with red heat sink) with room for an extra dc-dc converter for 12V hot end fan in the future. This also requires a Petsfang part, the BULLSEYE_BASE_CREALITY_9.27.stl (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759439). Petsfang do a lot of awesome work in boosting the performance of the Ender 3. And some custom wire clips to make it all nice and neat Print 0.1mm layer height and in black! (0.2mm also works fine) Thanks to all the designs already on thingiverse that made this possible. *Enjoy*
