MD Child Spinner

This project revolves around designing a new Fidget Spinner to benefit a specific group of people. Our team conducted thorough research and decided to focus on children with MD disease, who require a toy that encourages continuous play to help develop their hand muscles. To achieve this goal, we experimented with the 608 bearing in our spinner's design, placing it in the lap and observing its performance. The results showed that the spinner spun for approximately 10 seconds before requiring manual intervention. This outcome indicates that children using the Spinner must interact with it every 10 seconds, aligning perfectly with our primary objective. To make the Spinner appealing to its intended users, we prioritized creating a colorful design while ensuring safety considerations are met. We utilized SolidWorks to create detailed sketches, drawings, and assemblies, preparing our design for printing.
