This 3D model was originally developed using Sketchup 8 and then converted into all other 3D formats. The native format is .skp, with a 3ds Max scene rendered in 2016 version Vray 3.00. Located in Keflavik International Airport, GoldenJet's fleet comprises five aircraft. Three are McDonnell Douglas MD-83 planes, and two are Gulfstream G550 jets. GoldenJet was officially founded on May 12, 2013. The company started with two MD-80's before selling them on June 2, 2013 and acquiring three MD-83 planes the following day. Two Gulfstream G550 jets were purchased from Royal Airways, a subsidiary of GoldenJet, on June 6, and were promptly reworked for commercial use by June 7. GoldenJet aims to operate twenty routes in the near future. Currently, it has only five routes. Two of these are regional Icelandic flights, while three are international journeys to London, Manchester, and Nuuk. The ticket prices range from £20.50 to £30.12. By Sunday, June 9, 2013, GoldenJet had carried a total of 33,922 passengers. The aircraft used features an Airbus A330 design and tail, while the rest of the model was created in-house. The MD-80 template was employed, with the name customized by the creator.
