The cloud sponge (Aphrocallistes vastus) and its nearby counterpart are situated approximately one kilometer north of the other PBSI McKenzie Bight stations. This model was the first captured in February 2021, just before station setup began. The model comprises 108 images created by Ewan Anderson, Lee Critchley, Joakim Hjelm, and Jason Cook.
