I thought it would be exciting to design a couple of bath toys for my kids. My kids are absolutely fascinated by boats, particularly bath boats! This bath boat was created specifically for them. It's a pretty robust and heavy-duty "tough" boat. I printed it with Inland PLA+ so it has a bit more weight than usual. It floats well but the side floats can be snapped off if enough force is applied. So they'll need to be careful with this version of the boat. I will make some changes and post an even Ruggeder version of the boat soon. Also, I am creating different engines for the mid section recess of the boat that kids can swap out easily. The boat is only functional from a purely imaginative perspective - there are no moving parts on this model. I will post these additional components and the Ruggeder version of the boat shortly. This model should be printed with either a Raft or Brim to prevent the side floats from pulling up if there's no underlying support. Reducing the infill on this print will also make it more buoyant. I printed this using the following settings: Bed Temp: 65-70c Nozzle Temp: 200c Resolution: .15 - Should print fine with .2 Print Speed: 50mm/s
