With the motorcycle done I wanted to add a little of the old bike teams to the mix with a custom sidecar. This one is scaled to work with the other McFarlane motorcycle. The unit is designed with a frame that holds the seating area to allow for future customizations. This is the first version matched to the new Outrider bike style. There will be other builds that better mimic the old open-frame setup of the original. The kit is designed for FDM printing with minimal supports. There are 2 versions of the main body, a single-piece version ideal for resin printing and a 4 part one for FDM. All parts are designed to print flat with the FDM version. To finish the kit you will need 2 6x2mm magnets to mount the gun and 1 2mm metal axle (nail) for the wheel. The tire and hub both print flat and need 4 pieces in total. The tire and seat have both been designed to print in TPU so they are soft and less likely to scratch figures.
