sketchfab
A small but significant clay tobacco pipe fragment unearthed during the 2019 archaeological excavation at Caulkers' Houses in Fell's Point, Baltimore, Maryland, revealed a crucial piece of history. The pipe stem fragment bears an unmistakable mark - the name "McDougal" - proving its origins as a product of Duncan McDougall's Glasgow, Scotland workshop, active from approximately 1847 to around 1891.
