Resulting from an earlier model, the F2H-3 underwent redesigns in 1962, featuring tail and stabilizer changes as well as electrical and aerodynamic enhancements. The H4 version also included a Hughes AN/APG-37 radar in its cockpit. Production ceased in 1953.
