This highly detailed model closely resembles its actual dimensions, deviating by merely a few inches. Featuring an intricately designed cockpit and exterior, it comes with animatable landing gear, landing gear doors, and control surfaces. The canopy opens, and the model is available in several formats. Ideal for Korean era projects, the set includes textures and materials. The F2H Banshee, a twin-engine jet fighter crafted by McDonnell Aircraft between 1948 and 1961, succeeded its predecessor, the FH-1 Phantom. The Banshee boasted larger, more powerful engines than its predecessor. The F2H-2 was an upgraded version with detachable wingtip fuel tanks and eight underwing weapons stores, powered by Westinghouse turbojet engines. A total of 308 were built as second production versions. Equipped with four nose-mounted machine guns, the Banshee also featured an ejection seat and numerous system enhancements compared to its predecessor. The cockpit was fully pressurized and air-conditioned for optimal comfort.
