Available in various formats, this MD-90 model is a longer fuselage variant of the MD-80 series jet commercial airliners, designed to accommodate up to 172 passengers. First taking flight in 1993 and introduced with Delta Airlines in 1995, it was the longest model in the series at 152 feet 7 inches. It came in two variants - the MD-90-30 and MD-90-30ER (extended range). A total of 116 were built, serving numerous airlines, charter, and cargo operations worldwide.
