Designed for maximum capacity of up to 172 passengers, it first flew in 1993 and was introduced with Delta Airlines in 1995. Measuring 152 feet 7 inches in length, the MD-90 came in two versions: the MD-90-30 and the MD-90-30ER (extended range). With 116 built, this aircraft has been flown by numerous airlines, charter, and cargo carriers worldwide.
