The model comes fully textured and boasts animatable components like ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors, and propellers. Available in various formats, this MD-90 model represents the shorter fuselage variant of the MD-80s class jet commercial airliners. Designed for maximum capacity of up to 172 passengers, its first flight occurred in 1993 with Delta Airlines introducing it in 1995. As the longest aircraft in the series, the MD-90 measures an overall length of 152 feet 7 inches and comes in two variants: the MD-90-30 and MD-90-30ER (extended range). A total of 116 units were built, serving numerous airlines, charter, and cargo operations worldwide.
