It is available in multiple formats for easy downloading. The MD-87 was a shorter fuselage version of the MD-80 series of commercial jetliners. Designed to carry up to 139 passengers, it featured two auxiliary tanks, providing a range of 2,900 nautical miles. These aircraft were numbered based on their intended year of service, with the first MD-87 entering service in November 1987. Production for this model continued until 1992, making it the last variant to incorporate analog instruments in the cockpit.
