McDonnell Douglas MD-11
thingiverse
The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is an American three-engine medium- to long-range wide-body jet airliner, manufactured by McDonnell Douglas and later by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Based on the DC-10, it features a stretched fuselage with increased wingspan and winglets, refined airfoils on the wing, smaller tailplane, new engines, and more composite materials use. Two of its engines are mounted underwing pylons and a third at the vertical stabilizer base. It also has a glass cockpit that reduces the flight deck crew to two from three required on the DC-10 by eliminating the need for a flight engineer. UPDATE 12/26/2018: I have now added a cargo version of this model, requiring you to print all normal parts except the cockpit, top body (forward), top body (aft), and tail body. Then print the cargo versions of these parts, labeled with "(Cargo)" at the end of their names. Personally, I love airplanes, especially this one. Although it doesn't carry passengers anymore, you can still see it transporting cargo around the world, taking advantage of its long ranges for which it was built. This model consists of many individual parts, designed to be printed separately and assembled later. Note that a fully assembled file is available, but I wouldn't recommend printing it, as it would have to be much smaller with extensive support material use.
