The MC80 Liberty type Star Cruiser was a pioneering Mon Calamari Star Cruiser put into service by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Like most Mon Calamari designs, each vessel boasted unique characteristics that posed challenges for Rebel technicians. In an effort to standardize warships in this group and facilitate operations for non-Calamari crew members, Mon Calamari engineers were forced to compromise on their artistic vision. A common variant of the MC80 Star Cruiser line was exemplified by the Liberty cruiser. It featured a distinctive arrangement of nine engines, divided into three distinct sizes, located at the rear. A large wing-shaped superstructure was attached to the main hull on either side, housing weapons pods and tractor beam arrays. Some MC80 cruisers had their wing sections shortened and were equipped with an additional thruster for enhanced maneuverability. I modified this model for printing purposes, but it was originally created by a talented team. Credit is due to the following individuals who worked tirelessly on Interregnum.
