MC40a light cruiser

The MC40 was a compact Rebel cruiser, dwarfing the Imperial Strike-class medium cruiser. Equipped with potent shields for its size, it outpaced even larger vessels like the MC80a Star Cruiser in terms of speed and agility. Its three engines granted the MC40 exceptional maneuverability, while a spacious portside hangar enabled it to carry an entire starfighter squadron. Constructed sometime before the Battle of Hoth, the MC40 light cruiser saw extensive action in the year leading up to the Battle of Endor. These versatile cruisers often accompanied larger ships like the MC80 Star Cruiser, providing vital support and protection. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, the New Republic shifted its fleet to Kuat, where it was bolstered by numerous Mon Calamari cruisers, including the MC40. This strategic move enabled the Republic to launch a decisive strike against the Yuuzhan Vong. As for myself, I don't create these models from scratch; instead, I meticulously convert them and strive to make them suitable for 3D printing. I go to great lengths to obtain permission from each creator, though sometimes this proves challenging.
