MC Touch Bracket for TAZ 5

This is a modified MatterControl Touch bracket designed specifically for my TAZ 5. The new design keeps the touch screen securely in place while allowing it to take clear photos of the printed item simultaneously. To fit this attachment, I mounted it on the right side of the printer directly opposite from where the built-in spool holder resides. Although I never use the integrated spool holder due to my preference for feeding filament from the top, those who opt for this configuration will need some creative problem-solving skills. To hold things together properly, I utilized printed drop-in T-nuts designed by ssaggers that I had initially been skeptical of due to their limited structural integrity; however, they held up surprisingly well in practice. Print Settings: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 90% Notes: A modified version of the support structure is required as the original bracket for the 8020 arm was adjusted to better match the physical makeup of my TAZ5 3D printer. Due to the tablet attached at the end of the print arm adding considerable stress on this section, I implemented heavy infill at 90% for increased structural stability throughout all components involved. Using a thin layer resolution of 0.2 has proven suitable thus far; alternative values may work just as effectively though, so use what works best in your setup. Lastly, I opted to use PLA, but considering the nature of this print, ABS could possibly be an even better material choice.
