MBT-70 tank for microarmor

thingiverse

The MBT-70, a tank that never saw production, laid the groundwork for later designs like the M1 Abrams and the Leopard 2 series. Modeled in Blender 2.79b using Prof Null's model from BlendSwap as inspiration, I made some adjustments to the turret details, but not enough to call it my own work. I modeled the tank in full scale, then scaled it down to 1/100 for the STL file. You'll need to resize it by 35% in your slicer to get the right proportions. To print this model, I recommend placing the hull upside down and the turret gun facing upwards, but feel free to experiment with different methods to find what works best for you.
