mBot Ultrasonic Servo Mount Bracket Faceplate Makeblock
thingiverse
Since most of the ultrasonic sensor mounts that I found on Thingiverse were designed for a different sized sensor, I created one specifically for my Makeblock mBot. This bracket is engineered to mount the mBot Makeblock Ultrasonic Sensor to the Makeblock Servo, enabling the servo to control the direction of the sensor perfectly. If your sensor has a slightly different size, you can easily customize the bracket to fit your needs. I use this in combination with Thing:1249439 from thingiverse.com to attach it securely to my mBot. Also, feel free to experiment with the other parameters of the design to create a truly unique look that reflects your personality. I discovered that there is enough support for the sensor if only the center of the "eyes" is held, instead of having the bracket completely cover the face. I designed this part using OpenSCAD and it was my first creation using this software. Please let me know if it works successfully for you as intended.
